Check your mandatory equipment, which includes a first-aid kit, a reflective vest, an approved warning triangle, a jack, a wheel-nut wrench, and a spare wheel. A fire extinguisher is required for certain vehicle categories. You can also buy individual mandatory items from us.

Bring the original or a certified copy of the vehicle registration certificate (or an extract from the vehicle card issued by the Slovak Police) and the installation certificate for the gas system (if it was installed in Slovakia) if your vehicle runs on LPG or LNG. For rescue and funeral services, a disinfection certificate is required.

Make sure your tyres have a minimum tread depth of 1.6 mm, are free from damage, and comply with the details in your vehicle registration.

Windows should be free of cracks larger than 20 mm and must not have tinted film on the windscreen or the front side windows.

Operating fluids must not be visibly leaking or dripping.

Check that the lights and the horn are working properly. The vehicle must be clean.
